Pencil Pleat

Pencil Pleat is the standard heading for curtains. A 7.5cm (3") tape is used with three hook positions to suit all types of track and pole. Curtains are supplied ungathered for you to gather to the required width. Full instructions are enclosed with all orders.

To select the correct curtain size, please refer to the size guides. Simply look up your track or pole width to see the recommended curtain width. For customers who prefer extra fullness, with a pole width at the upper limit of a particular size, consider ordering the next size up.

Conversely, if less fullness is required, consider ordering the next size down, but please ensure that the combined curtain width is at least 1.5 times the pole width.

Deep Pencil Pleat

Similar to standard pencil pleat but 15cm (6") deep. For use with all fabric types this heading is particularly suitable for longer drop curtains to make the heading proportionate to the drop of the curtains. There are six hook positions making this heading suitable for all types of track or pole.
